SILK
Is a strand of braided, black dyed, coated suture. The suture material is coated with wax or silicone which helps to reduce tissue friction and capillarity. The silk is processed in a way that ensures great knotting with a high degree of knot security.

CATGUT PLAIN
Is a sterile, twisted, absorbable suture, produced from collagen of the gut wall of cattle (serosa) or sheep (submucosa).

CATGUT
suture has excellent handling features that contribute to high knot-pull tensile strength and good knot security. The softening process of the products is either by packed soaked in isopropanol base or packed softtened in isopropanol solution.

ECOSORB®fast

Is a braided synthetic absorbable suture that is made of Poly (Glycolide-co-Lactide). ECOSORB®fast has the same origin as ECOSORB® but its sterilization method differs with the use of gamma irradiation. ECOSORB®fast is known for its quick absorption and excellent knot security.

ECOSORB®
Is a braided synthetic absorbable suture that is made of Poly(Glycolide-co-lactide). The braided threads are coated with Glacomer 37 and calcium stearate so that they glide easily but remain firm when knotting without causing a sawing effect. Poly(Glycolide-co-lactide) gives an excellent knot security and tensile strength as well ease of handling.
