With the development of Tourniquet Touch, VBM has set up a new milestone in the manufacturing of modern Tourniquet combining quality, safety and simplicity.

The large 8” touch screen interface displays clear information regarding pressure and infl ation time. User friendly innovations such as Fast Choice Buttons and specifi c alarm program simplify the use of the device and reinforce patient safety. Longer power failures can be easily overcome by the powerful Lithium-Ion battery to guarantee safe continuation of the procedure.

The very robust housing makes cleaning and disinfection very easy due to the non-sensitive surface of the device.

Laryngeal Tube
The Laryngeal Tube is a supraglottic airway device for the use in general anesthesia during spontaneous or positive pressure ventilation. In emergency it is an ideal adjunct to secure the airway during difficult airway management as an alternative technique to mask ventilation and tracheal intubation.

Securing the airway is one of the major aspects for a successful resuscitation. In the current guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC), the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) the Laryngeal Tube has been implemented as an alternative (aid) for securing the airway during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

ScalpelCric
The ScalpelCric is a surgical set for cricothyrotomy according to the scalpel technique. The set has been developed to match the latest recommendations from the DAS (Difficult Airway Society) 2015 guidelines.

Based on the simple description of ‘stab, twist, bougie, tube’, the ScalpelCric is meant to facilitate the execution of the scalpel technique.

Ready to use. The set is packed in a specific sterile pouch with each component organised in the order of use. This reduces the risk of confusion at the critical time of the procedure. Each component is designed to enhance the safety and efficacy of the technique.

i-Bougie
Shape – Oxygenate – Intubate. The versatile Introducer to facilitate difficult intubation.

Failure to provide oxygen to patients is a leading cause of death and major morbidity directly attributable to anesthesia. Difficult direct laryngoscopy (Cormack & Lehane grades 2 or 3) is encountered in 1 to 18% of patients. Assisting intubation and delivering oxygen at the same time, during direct laryngoscopy, is a safe manoeuver to reduce the risk of failures (CICO scenario).

i-Bougie is a very effective device to facilitate orotracheal intubation in patients where visualisation of the glottis is inadequate.

Cuff Manometer
The use of VBM Cuff Pressure Gauges in combination with High Volume Low Pressure Cuffs can reduce micro-aspiration and prevent VAP from occurring in the first place.

The devices reduce the risk of pressure necrosis and mucosal ischemia. They help preventing the risk of aspiration which can lead to the possibility of pneumonia.

The analog system with no dependence on any energy source makes the VBM cuff pressure gauges highly reliable under any circumstances (outdoor, transport, OR). The accuracy of the display as well as the pre-defined pressure ranges help users to maintain the correct pressure with any kind of airway devices.

With the Quicktrach I and II we offer two sets for percutaneous cricothyrotomy for adults, children and infants by needle incision.
A quick airway access is made possible with a via one-step procedure. An incision by scalpel isn’t necessary. The sterile sets are pre-assembled and immediately ready for use.

Tube Fixations
We offer tube fixations for intubated patients in anaesthesia, for long-term intubation in intensive care or for emergency situations. They serve for the fixation of Tracheal Tubes, Laryngeal Tubes or Larynx Masks.

Our Tube Fixations don’t require the use of band aids and are especially patient-friendly because of their soft material.

Pelvic Sling
Pneumatic system for stabilisation of pelvic fractures. The pneumatic Pelvic Sling provides early stabilisation of pelvic fractures at the accident scene to allow patient transport and to reduce life-threatening bleeding.

The inflatable cuffs exert a lateral pressure to the pelvis for external stabilisation of the pelvic ring with the purpose to regain the anatomic conditions. This reduces the inner volume and tamponades the bleeding.
