1921
Mr. Jaume Tané Badosa (on the right), the founder of the company in front of his carpenter’s workshop in Olot.

Years ’50
At the end of the forties the demand of the food industry already requires a specific type of door and by the end of the decade a specialised section manufacturing that kind of products is incorporated in the organisation.

Years ’70
Since 1966 Tané was agent for the Spanish market of Markus Holland (inventor of the hermetical door). The technological exchange boosts Tané up to the industrial market leadership.

Years ’90
After 25 years of co-operation, the ways of Tané and Markus split.

1996
Tané celebrates its 75 years of existence and continues with new developments and models of doors for several industrial segments while the export increases.

Years ’90-’00
We introduce a new generation of hermetic sliding doors into the market, which are at the same time very high and very narrow, to be used in big size drying sheds.

2005
Tané has become one of the world leaders of the market, we continue specializing, investigating and developing the hermetical doors of the future.

Tané introduces the first certified sliding door of the market which is at the same time Cold storage door and Fire Rated 120 min.

2014
With “Doors for life” Tané highlights the quality and durability of its products for which the company is known in their markets.
