The “Alianna“ Air cushion is a Dynamic type of cushion , manually operated air cushion system that lets you to apply minimal pressure where it is needed most, at the bony area of the posterior. You get excellent overall pressure relief, but most importantly, extremely low interface pressure at the areas most prone in developing pressure sores, the cheekbones and tail bone (sacral) areas of the posterior.
A key element to avoid pressure sores is the maintaining circulation of the tissue. Studies show that the pressure of 32 mmHg or less will allow blood to circulate into compressed tissue. Pressure mapping has proven that the interface pressure achieved with the “Alianna “ air cushion is much better than 32 mmHg (see pressure maps).

With the introduction of SEQUOIA Seat Cushion; residents can now sit out of the bed comfortably and safety. The 6 dynamic cells gently alternate under the patient to relieve and redistribute pressure.
The seat also has foam base to help the stability and provides a second line of defense. The pump unit is very easy to control and provides a ultimate protection. The cushion is covered in a two way stretch waterproof material which is very easy to remove via a zip and clean. This unit can be used with all the mattress systems and Overlay Systems, to provide a 24 hr care situation.
