ReaCell Screening Cells
The ReaCell Screening Cells are in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDMD) of human origin to detect patient’s and donor’s irregular (IgM and IgG) antibodies, which may cause haemolitic anemia, transfusion reactions and complications, haemolitic disease of the newborn.

The non-enzymatised ReaCell I, II, III Screening Cells detect IgM (mainly M, N) and IgG (Rh-, Kell-, Duffy-, Kidd-, etc.) system’s irregular antibodies with direct agglutination, and indirect antiglobulin (indirect Coombs) technique.

The ReaCell IP, IIP, IIIP enzymatised (papainised) Screening Cells are reacting in enzymatised medium IgM and IgG, for detecting mainly Rh system’s irregular antibodies with direct agglutination technique. The Kell system’s antibodies may react this way as well. The Screening Cells are able to detect several cold IgM antibodies (anti-I, Anti-H, anti-P1, anti-Lea, anti-Leb). The enzym treatment destroys the Fya, Fyb, M, N and partially S antigens, this kind of antigens can’t be detected with enzymatised Screening Cells.

The ReaCell Screening Cells contains 3-3 „0” group, with known antibody property suspension. We are providing for each batch an antigen chart with the product. It is also available for registered users to dowload in pdf format.

ReaCell AB0 Test Cells
The ReaCell AB0 Test Cells are in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDMD) of human origin. They are designed for analysis of human biological samples. These test cells are being used for determination of AB0 blood group antibodies (anti-A, anti-B) in human serum or plasma.

The detection of anti-A and/or anti-B in the serum/plasma is a complementary part of blood grouping; by the presence or absence of anti-A and/or anti-B antibodies supports the evaluation of the reactions between the red blood cells and test sera.

On natural conditions the serum/plasma of persons with “A” blood group contains anti-B antibodies, the serum/plasma of persons with “B” blood group contains anti-A antibodies, the serum/plasma of persons with “0” blood group contains either anti-A or anti-B, and the others with “AB” blood group contains neither anti-A, nor anti-B.

If the serum/plasma to be tested contains anti-A, it will agglutinate the A1 and A2 test cells.

The red blood cells are prepared in the method wanted concentration ready-to-use, preservative suspension, filled in 5 ml and 10 ml vials fitted with a calibrated dropper.

ReaCell Panel Cells
The ReaCell Panel Cells are in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDMD) of human origin to detect patient’s and donor’s irregular (IgM and IgG) antibodies, which may cause haemolitic anemia, transfusion reactions and complications, and haemolitic disease of the newborn. These antibodies were detected with previous screening and/or cross matching probes.

The non-enzymatised ReaCell Panel Cells detect IgM (mainly M, N) and IgG (Rh-, Kell-, Duffy-, Kidd-, etc.) system’s irregular antibodies with direct agglutination, and indirect antiglobulin (indirect Coombs) technique.

The ReaCell Panel P enzymatised (papainised) Panel Cells are reacting in enzymatised medium IgM and IgG, for detecting mainly Rh system’s irregular antibodies with direct agglutination technique. The Kell system’s antibodies may react this way as well. The Panel Cells are able to detect several cold IgM antibodies (anti-I, Anti-H, anti-P1, anti-Lea, anti-Leb). The enzym treatment destroys the Fya, Fyb, M, N and partially S antigens, this kind of antigens can’t be detected with enzymatised Panel Cells.

Each ReaCell Panel Cells Kit contains 11 pieces of „0” group, known antigen composition red blood cells suspension.
