aLF Reader
improve your usability to the max

The aLF Reader is a reliable, highly sensitive and accurate lateral flow reader with an intuitive workflow. The 7” touch screen display supported by an internal 1D/2D barcode scanner allows easy data entry. No special training is required to operate the reader.

Test cassettes for a variety of different assays can be placed into the device using the universal test cassette holder. This ensures exact and precise measurements with minimum variances are always achieved.

The aLF reader is an CE-IVD product, which supports all listed IVD assays for the aLF system.

Your test results can be printed out on a Dymo 450 label writer. The database of the aLF device is able to store up to 1000 test results with full database administration if you prefer not to print. A connection port via Ethernet to a middleware will ensure result transfer to your local network server and therefore allows easy administration of your results from your desktop.

QIAGEN Lake Constance GmbH came into existence in July 2010 when Embedded System Engineering (ESE) GmbH changed its name after joining the QIAGEN family. Originally a spin off from Perkin Elmer Bodenseewerk, the privately owned ESE GmbH was founded in 1997.

QIAGEN Lake Constance is a center of excellence for optical detection and point-of-need instrumentation. We focus on the development and production of portable instruments for point-of-need testing. Our easy to use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products enable our customers to develop their final product, either a lateral flow technology or a nucleic acid-based / isothermal amplification assays device. These rapid test devices have countless different applications, from food and feed safety testing to veterinary analysis, and many more.

We work according to Quality Management ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards and are an FDA-registered contract manufacturer.
