Injectable Bone Graft Substitute
ORD has developed a bone graft substitute that is intended to be filled into bone defect (Fig.1). The filler provides structural support to avoid being hollow but is not for bone tissue stabilizing. After filling into the site of bone defect, the bone graft substitute paste will self-harden in situ; it can be replaced with natural bone gradually during the healing process (Fig.2 & 3).
Traditional bone cement needs longer time to solidify and needs to be blended all the time while using, so it is uninjectable and usually can only be packed on the defect directly. However, our product is improved and suitable for injection because of the solidification time of our product is shorter, and the materials of this product are easy to mix. (Fig. 4). Using this product can effectively decrease infection of operation and reduce user’s discomfort.

Gingival Protector
ORD has developed a bone graft substitute that is sintered by 1100℃ with calcium phosphate – one of the components of natural bone. The bone graft substitute has both high porosity and high structure strength. We can control the pore size and the shape of the product by novel sintering technology (Fig.1).
High porosity of the bone graft substitute can help osteoblast adhesion and migration (Fig.2), and high structure strength can provide temporary support to avoid second damage. During the healing process, the bone graft substitute will be replaced by natural bone gradually.

Tooth whitening-Teeth Whitening Gel
People have been paying attention to dental care in recent years, especially for healthy, clean and whiten teeth. However, poor oral hygiene, foods and smoking will cause tooth discoloration, so people need better tools for teeth cleaning.
ORD has developed an effective teeth whitening gel (Fig. 1). We designed a special whitening component that can react with organic pigments molecules and convert the carbon-carbon double bond structure of pigment molecular into single bond and thus achieve the effect of tooth whitening.
The experiment is proven that whitening gel combined with about 20 minutes blue light treatment (wavelength of 400 ~ 500 nm) has excellent teeth whitening effect (Fig. 2).
