With our expertise in the field of linear bearings and miniature ball screws and our diversified skills in development, machining and assembly, we design custom products and solutions that stand out for their reliability, high precision and small size. The demanding markets served by MPS are mainly medical, including orthopaedics, watchmaking, automation, aerospace, science and optics. In addition, we rely on the expertise of our parent company, FAULHABER Group, for electric drive systems.

Broach handle
Broach handles are available in multiple configurations, to provide great flexibility in the surgical approach, as well as less invasive techniques. MPS Precimed product design can be customized and validated to meet your specific needs. Broach handles, or rasp handles, are available in the following configurations: straight, single and double offset.

In all cases, MPS Precimed adapts the interface of the broach handle or grip to your needs. The strike plate can be angled to your requirements.

Impactor
The offset impactor, or cup holder, allows the controlled positioning and impaction of acetabular cups through a small incision, enabling a less invasive surgical approach.

The unique locking mechanism enables accurate cup placement during impaction. The cup rotation is fixed once locked in place.

Flexible intramedullary reamer
Manufactured from a flexible nitinol tube, the reamer allows appropriate anatomical alteration following the natural curvature of the long bone.

This use is impossible with a rigid straight reamer. The nitinol tube is smooth, making it easy to clean, minimizing the infection risk in patients. The development of these flexible intramedullary reamers offers a solution to innovative design and reliable performance. Our product is available as a modular or solid system – monobloc – for femoral applications.
