MICROPTIC SL, company based in Barcelona, Spain, is a leading player in the field of research, development, distribution and installation of automatic diagnostic systems. Using artificial vision technology, we are specialized in biomedicine.

It was first established in 1989 with the name of MICROPTIC SCP and change to MICROPTIC SL in 2001. Since its creation it was focused on the software development for image analysis, having a group of Computer Engineers and Biologists collaborating in the project to create the high quality software, adapted to user´s needs.

The company was mainly having all their activity in Spain until 2001, where the Export Department was created, allowing the company to expand it.

MICROPTIC SL is ISO 9001 certified since 2007, and obtained the ISO 13845 certification in 2013. And are also registered producer in the Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS).
