BurnTec®. First aid dressings for burns and skin injuries
BurnTec hydrogel dressing is different from other first aid dressings. Owing to its stable-sheeting hydrogel structure, the BurnTec dressing guarantees even coverage and distribution of cooling activity over the entire burn surface, even for the most extensive injuries.
In addition, the stable structure of the dressing also eliminates the risk of spilling or damaging the cooling hydrogel.
While using BurnTec hydrogel facial mask dressing, we can be 100% sure that the hydrogel does not get into the respiratory system, even if oxygen therapy is used.
Even large hydrogel pads adhere well to the wound and can be applied quickly and easily.
BurnTec is widely used by medical rescue services, fire brigades and the army. They can also be used in medical care during sporting competitions. The dressing is often included in workplace first aid kits and it is appreciated by persons responsible for occupational health and safety.

Neoheal®. Hydrogel dressing for wound management
Neoheal is a modern and unique hydrogel dressing recommended for treatment of burns, ulcerations, bedsores and all kinds of skin damages in which humid medium is favorable.
Neoheal was developed by using the special Hydrogel -Technology with the innovative concept of “Moist Wound Healing”. A wound which keeps moist can heal faster because newly formed cells can divide and move faster under such environment than under a wound scab.
Hydrogel dressings Neoheal are an aqueous composition of natural and synthetic polymers such as: polyvinylopyrrolidone, polyethylene glycol and agar, cross-linked by a beam of electrons. Thanks to radiation processing the product features sufficient mechanical strenght and is fully sterile. In the end-use form it represents 3 mm thick hydrogel sheet, containing over 90% of water.

HydroAid®. Hydrogel dressings for aesthetical medicine and plastic surgery
HydroAid is a modern dressing in the form of a homogenous, transparent, mechanically resistant pad of hydrogel based on a special net of three polymers, including about 90% of water, ca. 3 mm thick. Thanks to this unique structure HydroAid dressing has many exceptional properties. HydroAid is applied as a cooling and alleviative hydrogel dressing to protect skin following laser ablation, aesthetic medical procedures, plastic surgery and phlebology. It supports the healing of injured tissue as well.

HydroAid may be used during non-ablative laser procedures, as an elastic and transparent contact layer which cools and protects the epidermis from thermal injuries, thus improving the quality of the procedure and the patient’s level of comfort. It is useful as a coupling agent for ultrasound applications in cases of breached dermis or open wounds, or when a sterile and transparent hydrogel cushion is necessary to improve visibility of examined tissue.

KIKGEL is the only manufacturer of BurnTec®, HydroAid®, Neoheal® sterile hydrogel dressings produced based on the innovative technology developed at the Technical University of Lodz. The company was established by MSc, Eng Mirosław Kik, a graduate of the chemistry faculty of the Technical University of Lodz. For many years, our hydrogel dressings have been recognized by specialists in wound treatment and widely used at hospitals and clinics in Poland and abroad. Hydrogel dressings are manufactured according to the GMP guidelines (Good Manufacturing Practices) and manufacturing conditions are controlled by the recognized notified body TÜV NORD,

Since 2002, KIKGEL has had the certified quality management system based on the international standards ISO 9002 and ISO 13485. All of our products meet the requirements of the European Medical Device and bear the CE conformity marking. In 2013 we also received the approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Recently, observing worldwide trends in wound treatment and meeting our customers’ needs, we extended our offer with other modern medical devices, such as products of the renowned British brand of Advancis Medical, including advanced dressings with medical Manuka honey, system for negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) of Genadyne (USA), and variety of Microdacyn® products having antibacterial activities of American brand Oculus. We are the exclusive representative in Poland of the companies whose products are distributed by us in medical store chains, pharmaceutical wholesalers and drug stores in the country.
