PROTOTYPE
The many in house facilities allow JEB to produce prototypes quickly and accurately to basic drawings.

We can manufacture simple hand jigs and fixtures that will produce low volume, production representative samples for initial product trials.

DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE
JEB will use its many years of manufacturing experience to review your product design, we will work with you to ensure your product is cost effective and practical to manufacture.

We will evaluate all features that are critical to function and manufacture, then in consultation with you, achievable tolerances, and necessary changes will be applied. Appropriate manufacturing process will then be selected to ensure all areas critical to final product quality can be achieved.

PRODUCTION PROCESSES
With many years of manufacturing experience JEB will design and manufacture tooling in house; from press or mould tools for individual components, to simple jigs and fixtures or complex forming and product assembly systems.

Where a process is required but not currently employed within JEB, we have several partners that we will manage and work with to provide the complete solution.

With manufacturing technology continuously developing, JEB is open to adopting new processes to once again provide the complete solution.

VALIDATION
JEB is experienced in full validation to FDA standards, having completed the required tasks for a wide variety of manufacturing, finishing, and assembly processes. Our team are able to generate the necessary protocols along with the supporting documentation to validate the manufacturing processes.

Working closely with the customer, we are able to accommodate specific validation documentation tailored to your individual needs.

Our well equipped quality department supports the heavy inspection requirements associated with the validation process and is well versed in the compilation of data and the use of Minitab.

Company details
From humble beginnings in a wooden outbuilding JEB Engineering has grown steadily to become one of the UK’s leading providers of individual components through to complex assemblies.

Since our formation in 1972 we have utilised our design and tooling capabilities, together with the speed and versatility of our own Bihler vari-slide automatic forming machines, as the foundation for our continued development. Through this development we now have the skills to design and build bespoke manufacturing solutions, enabling us to produce and deliver your unique requirements. Today our products are supplied to markets ranging from domestic electrical through to medical.

Throughout our history we have prided ourselves on the production of millions of stampings per week. Multi-process high volume production still continues today along with the manufacture of specialist low volume assemblies. Working closely with a wide range of customers has enabled us to develop our knowledge to ensure that we offer the most cost effective solution available.

JEB have historically operated a Quality Management System achieving the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 approval. Our products are manufactured to these controlled procedures, at sites in Mildenhall, Suffolk and Oldham, Lancashire.
