OptiCell 4 NX -Alternating mattress

OptiCell 4 NX is an alternating pressure air mattress which is placed directly
onto a bed base. It aids the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers up
to and including Category 4. OptiCell 4 has a height of 20cm and comes with a
durable OptiTex™ cover and a CPR valve for emergency situations.
The interchangeable mattress cells and waterproof cover provide a Low Air Loss
function, helping to manage the microclimate around areas in contact with the
patient.

The supplied pump can provide both static and alternating pressure. It is easy to use and automatically adjusts to the patient’s weight, length, location, movements and position in the bed. The pump has five preprogrammed cycle times of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 minutes.

PRESSURE ULCER CATEGORY 1-4

CELLS The unique interchangeable SweCells™ are made of thermoplastic
polyurethane (TPU) and are softer than traditional polyurethane
(PU) cells. This means they conform to the patient’s body more
effectively, giving increased side support, with less noise.

COVER Multi-stretch, waterproof, breathable and washable
OptiTex ™ bi-elastic double coated textile with soft elastic PU.

PUMP OC-40 is an advanced pump with sensors that adapt to the
patient’s weight. A dual-function indicator lamp shows when the pump and mattress
are ready to use, or if there is a fault requiring service.

FIRE SAFETY STANDARDS Complies with SS 876 00 01, EN 597-1 & 2.

Soft Euroflex – Lentex hygienic mattress
Soft Euroflex is a hygiene mattress developed as an aid in the treatment of pressure ulcers up to Category 3.

Soft Euroflex is equipped with our unique surface layer Lentex® which is laminated directly onto the foam core. This means that it has no seams or zippers which offers advantages in terms of hygiene and cleaning. The surface layer is available only in a fresh white colour which facilitates contamination detection on the surface of the mattress.

FIRE STANDARDS The mattress has been tested and meets the requirements of SS 876 00 01, test method NT-Fire 037 A+B

Flex pillow
Cushion in viscoelastic foam used for pressure ulcer prevention.

The Flex Pillow is equipped with our unique surface layer Lentex® which is laminated directly onto the foam core. This means that it has no seams or zippers
which offers advantages in terms of hygiene and cleaning.

The cushion is made of carefully selected viscoelastic foam and is available in two sizes. The bevelled cushion is for heavier users (approx. 85-130 kg) and the other one is for lighter users.

The Flex Pillow is used for pressure ulcer prevention and has many areas of use. It can be used from the start in a patient’s bed, before any redness occurs, as well as for patients where a risk of pressure ulcers is apparent. It is a complement to the prevention mattress when additional pressure ulcer prevention is required.
