PAIN FREE FRAME DRESSINGS
Gergonne’s transparent film dressings are made with the M032 single-sided polyurethane film of the Adhecare® range. They are designed to protect sensitive skins and can be removed without pain or trauma thanks to the silicone gel.

These pain free frame dressings are suitable for different applications such as superficial wound cover, fragile skin protection, surgical wound care or secondary dressings.

Thanks to their technical features and composition, these silicone gel frame dressings offer many benefits including:

conformability (increasing patient comfort)
breathability
easy to handle and repositionable thanks to the paper frame

GERGONNE has been developing and investing massively in the medical field for several years now.

The acquisition of our subsidiary LABORATOIRES COLUXIA in 2011, which manufactures medical devices, has enabled us to strengthen our knowledge in the field of medical adhesive tapes and to make the health market a sector in its own right for our company.

We control the sourcing of materials that meet the requirements of the sector as well as the formulation of acrylic materials to stick to the skin. We have the ability to improve the level of adhesion to the skin by choosing from our range of medical formulas whose properties we control.

All our medical formulas meet biocompatibility requirements:

Primary skin irritation (ISO 10993-10)
Sensitivisation (ISO 10993-10)
Cytoxicity (ISO 10993-5)

Our know-how is not limited to the manufacture of medical adhesive tapes (single-sided adhesive tapes, double-sided adhesive tapes, medical non-woven adhesive tapes etc.). We are also specialists in the manufacture of highly water vapour-permeable medical polyurethane films used in the manufacture of medical devices. These films can be delivered alone or coated with a medical adhesive mass.
