Duodynator

HiToP 191
Treatment of Polyneuropathy with HiToP 191

Polyneuropathy can be comfortably treated at home with the patented (Europ. Patent EP 1322379B1) HighTone Therapy. People who suffer from polyneuropathy (PNP) usually have only one desire: to be painless again. If it burns, tingles and nothing feels right, if you feel a loss of skin sensitivity, numbness, “pins and needles” and shooting pains your everyday life has many limitations, such as poor sleep, debilitating pain and pain therapy.

HiToP® 191 has been designed to treat Polyneuropathy comfortably at home. gbo is exclusively applying the worldwide patented HighTone Therapy, which has no known and unwanted side effects. Over 8.000 patients are using this therapy successfully.

HTEMS®, HighTone Electric Muscle Stimulation; is being used in over 400 practices and many clinics and institutes. In contrast to classical electrotherapy (TENS), the HTEMS® acts in the depth of the thigh’s muscle generating comfortable but yet intense and thereby effective contractions. In August 2011 HTEMS® has been added to the German National Guidelines for treating Polyneuropathy. Even though there are many highly published studies we have not yet reached the level of being accepted by the German healthcare reimbursement system.

HiToP 1touch
The HiToP® 1touch is designed for the use in the doctor’s practice as well as mobile at the patient’s house. Via the touch screen the therapist can select either therapies or indications in a most easy fashion. The graphic display supports the work with the device: pictures of the application demonstrate the placement of the electrodes. The HiToP® 1touch can be used in two different positions: propped up and laid flat (see pictures). It can be easily and safely taken along with the matching transport bag. Thus the HiToP® 1touch is the ideal expansion to the HiToP® 4 and 2touch for the usage in the sports club or private environment.

The CRYOCARE® from gbo Medizintechnik AG opens up a wide new field for safe and reliable treatment in Cryotherapy. The skin indications are aging spots, pigmentation and hemangioma, especially in Pediatrics.

In CRYOCARE® the cold is generated electrically by a Peltier element and kept at a constant level of –32°C on the applicator tip. The only operating costs are those for energy consumption. The technical side of the device is simple, clear and easily operated by the user.

Radiotherm
The Radiotherm® generates constant and pulsed microwave energy for thermal and non-thermal applications.

Providing relief to the subcutaneous fat tissue, microwave radiation offers beneficial effects for muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints:

Sonostat touch
The modern high-tech design with a brushed aluminium surface and the 10” TFT LCD full colour touch-screen monitor are significant quality characteristics of the new Sonostat®. The Sonostat® with its two frequencies, 1 MHz and 3 MHz, each of which has a different depth impact, offers a high degree of functionality and operating convenience for universal ultrasonic therapy. The ultrasound is applied to the patient by means of ergonomically designed and 100% watertight treatment heads with a size of either 2.5 cm² or 5 cm².

The treatment head is made of high-quality titanium. In contrary to conventional aluminum heads, titanium is bioinert, i.e. 100% kindly to the skin, much more tough and therefore is much more durable and does not tarnish.

Both treatment head sizes can be simultaneously connected to the unit.

Ultratherm
The Ultratherm® short-wave therapy unit sets new standards for its class. It still employs the ideal energy source, a high-performance vacuum tube, which allows both the capacitor (condensor field) and the coil (induction field) techniques to be used.

To guarantee ease of use as well as convenient and efficient operation, the unit features a graphic display that not only guides the operator but also provides indication suggestions (incl. pictograms showing proper electrode application) and various program storage positions.

A unique output power dosing function allows highly precise adjustment by means of the dynamic matching indicator and the heat-effective output power value that is constantly displayed, giving the user full visual control over the therapy.
