Company details
Established in 2000, Forefront Medical Technology (FMT) is focused on the design, prototyping, testing and contract manufacturing of components, sub-assemblies and finished product by means of thermoplastic and thermoset materials. With cleanroom manufacturing facilities in Singapore and China, FMT is now poised for further growth with strong capabilities in product design and contract manufacturing. Equipped with the latest 3D printing and rapid prototyping equipment for plastic and metal fabrication, FMT is accustomed to fast turnaround of product design and manufacturing, whilst meeting the high quality and regulatory requirements of our customers. In doing so, FMT places particular emphasis on design for manufacturing and cost efficiency, continually striving towards price competitiveness and quality. FMT’s quality system is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certified (inclusive of product and tooling design) and FDA CFR 21 Part 820 registered.
FMT is fully aware and committed to the need to protect the confidentiality of our customer’s sensitive intellectual property rights. Our quality procedure ensures compliance and safe keeping of these critical document and information.
In 2015, FMT acquired XentiQ Pte Ltd, bringing to the company enhanced product design capabilities in electro mechanical systems and disposables. Established in 1987, XentiQ has a long history of working with international medtech companies in new product development and product realization. Over the years, it achieved multiple design awards including the prestigious President’s Design Award (Singapore) in 2007 for innovation in an intelligent surgical tool for spinal procedures.

Technical Development, Materials and Process Expertise:
Innovative mold design, molding, extrusion, automated assembly and packaging enable FMT to manufacture a wide range of devices and specialty components for the medical industry. We will analyse product designs with 3D CAD models, evaluate and select materials, develop prototypes, fabricate forming and assembly tools, produce pilot quantities and mass produce your devices to exact specifications.
At FMT we have the expertise for full product realisation, from ideation to mass production, for medtech products including those with sensors for data acquisition and embedded software.
All processes applied for the manufacture of the products go through rigorous process validation to consistently manufacture to specifications. Our quality compliance and regulatory affairs team will assist in product registration and CE marking.
