Intended use
OP-Tape is intended to be used for applying reusable surgical drapes to the patient’s skin in order to create a sterile and hygienic operating environment. After use, the drape is processed in the laundry, during which the tape is removed from the textile. After this process new tape can be applied to the drapes.

Product description
OP-Tapes are double sided tapes consisting of a carrier of which both sides are coated with a solvent free and water free, pressure sensitive hotmelt adhesive.

Advantages
During surgery, the tape is unaffected by body fluids and other fluids used during surgery.
Coated with two special types of adhesive, this tape ensures both maximum performance during surgical procedures, as well as easy solvability during the washing process in the laundry.
The bonding strength of the employed adhesives is not adversely affected by sterilization and the tape reaches its ultimate adhesive strength on the textile side after steam sterilization.
The adhesives are biocompatible.

Incision film – Incise drape – Surgical film

Intended use
OP-Film is intended for covering and protecting the surgical area to maintain sterility, and to be applied on the skin for skin protection.

Product description
OP-Film is a transparent polyethylene film single coated with a pressure and temperature sensitive adhesive. OP-Film is resistant to water, body fluids, detergents and alcohol. OP-Film is supplied with a white release liner and a blue finger lift. (For OP-Film S242 and OP-Film S262 only transparent fingerlift available). The construction is provided with a perforation line to easily remove the finger lift.

Non woven surgical strips
Intended use
OR-strips are intended to be applied to reusable surgical drapes and to the patient’s skin during surgery to fix drapes, stockinettes and tubes.

Product description
An OR-strip is a single coated non-woven with 2 fingerlifts of 15mm each. The non-woven is lint free and can be supplied in blue or green. The non-woven is coated with a uniform polymer adhesive layer. The adhesive is disinfectant resistant and pressure and temperature sensitive.

The non-woven is water-repellent and lint-free

Flexible fenestration
Intended use

Intended use
TUR inserts are intended to be used for applying surgical drapes for TUR-surgery (transurethral resection) or surgery of the prostate or the bladder. The inserts can easily be taped over a tailored contour in the drape. This allows protection of the patient and it creates a sterile and hygienic operating environment.

Product description
TUR inserts are latex free finger cots provided with or without OP-Tape. The finger cots are tear resistant, suitable for sterilization and they return to their original state after stretching.

Liquid collection bags
Intended use
Eurotape’s liquid collection pouches are intended to be applied to re-usable surgical drapes before steam sterilization in order to collect liquids during a surgical procedure.

Product description
The pouches are made of a steam sterilizable and water vapor transmittable polyamide film and can be produced with:

a soluble adhesive strip;
an exit port;
tear off notches;
a flexible wire to keep the pouch open;
inserts for arthroscopy surgery;
a filter.

Advantages
The pouch is provided with a wash soluble adhesive strip
The pouch is resistant to a steam sterilization process

The adhesive reaches its ultimate bonding strength on the textile after steam sterilization
