A-Oxidised Regenerated Cellulose Hemostat
Pahacel Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose was obtained by controlling oxidation of rejenerated cellulose with sterile plain weave fabric which is 100% organic material. The fabric is white / pale yellow cast and has a faint and caramel- like aroma. It is strong and can be sutured or cut without fraying. Pahacel Absorbable Hemostat (Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose) is used adjunctively in surgical procedures to assist in the control of capillary, venous and small arterial hemorrhage when ligation or other conventional medhods of control are impractical or ineffective. Pahacel Standard, Pahacel Knit, and Pahacel Fibril hemostats can be cut to size for use in endoscopic peocedures The prooerties of PAHACEL product can be tailored according to customer request.

Made of Oxdized Regenerated Cellulose is absorbed in the body within 7-14 days. Provides rapid hemostas iwithin 2-3 minutes. Do not cause tissue irritation . Exhibits bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties with the effect on growth and multiplication of gram(+) and gram (-) organisms including aerobic, anaerobic bacteria and bacteria showing resistant to antibiotics. ORC is sterilized by Gamma radiation technique.

Polypropylene Mesh is 100% biocompatible according to ISO-10993 standards. Bio-compatibility results for Polypropylene Mesh are available. Re-sizing of Polypropylene mesh is achieved by laser cutting technique due to its versality and ability to seal the cut edges. Polypropylene based products can be sterilized using steam autoclave and ethylene oxide (EO). The polypropylene mesh is classified as Class II-b according to Medical Device Directives and has CE certificate.
