About Us

Company details
Mattia and Josep first came together around a shared problem: how to create a better tool for easier diagnosis and better treatment of hypertension. As leaders in their field, they contributed to research and development at the prestigious CSEM institute in Switzerland.

For 15 years they worked day in and day out to understand the language of our heart signals, and decode key markers in order to gain better insight into blood pressure. They built an incredible team and founded Aktiia to turn their years of hard work into a useful tool for people around the globe.
