VM® SAFETY SYRINGES AND NEEDLES
Intended Use: The safety syringes and needles are used for administering medications using standard and specialized techniques. A feature of safety products is offer active protection to the healthcare professionals. In an active system, clinicians activate the safety mechanism after the injection. The safety product range includes:
– Safety needles with safety clip. The needle’s “bevel up” position is oriented to the safety cover to facilitate low-angle injections.
– Safety syringes with a safety clip. The injection needles are covered by a safety mechanism immediately.
– Safety syringes with a sliding sheath. The injection needles are withdrawn into a protective sheath once the injection procedure has been completed.

VM® AUTO-DISABLE SYRINGES
Intended Use: Auto-disable syringes are used for administering medications using standard and specialised techniques. Auto-disable syringes are distinguished by the fact that they cannot be reused following injection. The product range includes two models of the auto disable syringes:
– Auto disable syringes with a spring lock. Through its passive protection mechanism, the syringe is automatically blocked, thus becoming unusable. This type of syringes is very popular for immunization.
– Self-destructing syringes with a mechanism separating the plunger seal and plunger.
