Veress insufflation cannulae
The Veress cannula is the most common gas insufflation cannula for minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. Veress cannulae serve to create a pneumoperitoneum whereby the abdominal wall is elevated by an inflow of gas (CO2) which, in turn, enables the trocars to be inserted. In some cases, it may be necessary to create a pneumoperitoneum within a short space of time. Chrome and stainless steel high-flow cannulae make this possible due to a larger opening.

We offer Veress insufflation cannulae equipped with the safety mechanism and a stopcock with Luer-Lock connection in a range of versions and working lengths.

Automatic trocar sleeves
In addition to classic automatic trocar sleeves, TROKAMED also offers two additional product lines.

The modern trocar sleeves with threaded connectors are characterised by their considerably lower weight, more manageable housing size and unambiguous colour coding for even quicker assembly.
TROKAMED trocar sleeves, made of high-quality steel or high-performance plastic, come in a range of diameters and working lengths. In addition, versions with a metal or plastic sheath tube, either smooth or with a thread, can be selected.

TROKAMED trocar sleeves are compatible with the existing trocars and are also CE- and FDA-approved.

Hasson trocar sleeves / obturators
From time to time, the so-called “half-open technique” is preferred for insertion of the first trocar. For this, the Hasson trocar sleeve with suture holders and blunt obturator is used. This is included in our product range in a variety of diameters and with various cones.

Bariatric trocar sleeves / trocars
The extra-long bariatric automatic trocar sleeves are available in high-quality stainless steel or high-performance plastic. With a working length of 150 mm, the bariatric trocar sleeves and trocars from TROKAMED provide optimal access to the surgical site when treating obese patients.

In addition to the various trocar versions, we also offer the safety trocar with a triangular tip.

5 mm sliding valve
Suction and irrigation instruments are used in virtually all laparoscopic interventions in order to rinse the surgical site and suction away blood, fluids and also tissue fragments.

Our range includes the most diverse systems with the simple-to-use sliding valve for a variety of different individual applications, thus promoting convenient and targeted working for surgeons.

Monopolar Electrodes
The monopolar electrode range is distinguished by its high-quality insulation. Button, dissection hook, right-angled dissection hook, dissection spatula and needle electrode versions are available for all handle designs.

In addition to the standard range with a 5 mm diameter, we also produce electrodes for paediatrics with a diameter of 2.8 mm.

Fascia suturing aid
The suturing aid is used for simple closure of the wound following a laparoscopic intervention with a trocar sleeve and facilitates suturing of the fascia considerably. The design of the suturing aid allows simple threading and repositioning of the suture material using a thread catcher and cannula.

Fan retractors
The dual function of the fan retractor allows atraumatic spreading and raising of the fingers independently of each other. In addition to the standard length of 380 mm, there is also a larger working length of 450 mm available for obese patients.

Alongside the 10 mm version, we also produce a 5 mm retractor, which can also be completely dismantled and is easy to clean.

Laparoscopic hand instruments
Hand instruments from TROKAMED are used for cutting and grasping tissue in laparoscopic interventions. The modular system offers a wide range of different jaws. Put your system together to suit your needs and select from different forceps, graspers and scissors.

Our laparoscopic hand instruments are available in the working lengths 330 mm, 260 mm and 450 mm. To ensure optimal handling, the corresponding instrument handles are also available with or without a locking function.

10 mm trumpet valve and pistol handle
These are larger suction and irrigation instruments designed to suction away larger tissue particles. As well as the new, lighter system with additional tube connection at the side and unambiguous colour coding, the dual function suction and irrigation pistol handle has also proven ideal for convenient and efficient working. The advantages of this system include its ergonomic shape, simple handling and straight through flow. HF electrosurgery is also possible with this system by simply exchanging the suction and irrigation tubes for, for example, monopolar electrodes.
