The PEDS 600 is a state-of-the-art radiography system including a microprocessor controlled inverter generator from our PROVARIO HF series. Due to the compact design the system is ideal for any kind of examination techniques in orthopedic, surgical and traumatology applications where minimum space required is of vital importance. To ensure a fast workflow the digital automatic exposure control (AEC in classic and TOUCH version) and anatomical programmer (APR) are part of the package.

According to individual user requirements, the PEDS 600 can be customized as an analog cassette-based system or a fully digital DR-unit. In case of a DR-configuration, the U-arm stand will be equipped with a PROTEC RAPIXX flatpanel detector.

In addition to various standard features, the system provides a telescopic arm for system adjustment as easy and as precise as it can ever be, even in situations with limited space and demanding application environment.

In case of set up as a fully digital system, various WiFi detector models of PROTEC´s RAPIXX series are available, while system operation with CONAXX 2 acquisition software is highly user-friendly due to use of an ergonomic tablet-PC.

CONAXX 2 is a user-friendly and intuitively operable system for the acquisition of X-ray images. On a touchscreen monitor the software guides you in an efficient way through the complete workflow to the final X-ray image.

The reception of patient data or the acceptance of complete x-ray jobs from your existing, preceding IT environment makes the whole workflow even more convenient. Thus, with three clicks only you will acquire a new x-ray image, ready to diagnose. Transfer of the acquired X-ray image from CONAXX 2 to the PACS destination (e.g. our PROPAXX medical imaging software) can be automated, while you still have the possibility of initiating several jobs parallely – e.g. sending the image to PACS, generating a patient-CD, or DICOM printing.

CONAXX 2 offers unlimited storage capacity. All connected devices (X-ray generator and tube, CR/DR-modality) perceive continuous status observation in order to reduce potential system error and increase lifetime of involved components – that´s what PROTEC considers an elaborate product and real cost benefit to the user.

In case of having connected the X-ray generator and dose-area-product-meter (DAP) system, the X-ray journal automatically provides comprehensive patient and X-ray image data.

Available language versions: German, English, French, Chinese, Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, etc.. Apart from that, any not yet available language version can be easily realised on demand.

PROPAXX is the software for viewing, processing and archiving that offers you multifunctional and flexible support in the diagnosis of x-ray images. In addition to the wide spectrum of possibilities to optimize and analyse image data, the software includes a selection of useful administrative tools and assisting functions, as e.g. the integrated interface for reporting the clinical findings or synchronic viewing of x-ray images in the digital light box from the same window and zoom perspective.

The attractive design supplements the user-friendly handling concept that accompanies the user during the entire working process.

The core part of the PROPAXX system is the image archiving server, which is accessible from different viewing stations. This client-server-architecture and its modular layout, enables expansion of functions as well as the number of viewing stations according to user requirements. In addition, the flexible licence and user model allows individualization of different workstations in their use and design workplaceindependent “Concurrent User” Licence Model).

Communication interfaces enable PROPAXX to connect to further system components. Thus, direct data and image exchange with image acquisition systems and modality consoles (e.g. CONAXX 2) can be realized easily. The DICOMservices implemented in PROPAXX are available to all DICOM compliant systems.
