Supplied at 0.5 µg/µl in TE buffer (pH 8.0) in sufficient quantity for 100 loadings using 1 µl per loading after mixing with tracking dye.
Consists of 11 easily-identifiable bands at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 8.0, and 10.0 kb when run on a 0.8% agarose gel.
Bands stain with approximately the same intensity, except for the 1.0-kb band, which is three times the intensity of the other bands.
Not designed for quantitating DNA content in a sample.

Description
Taq DNA Polymerase (cloned) is the recombinant form of the native enzyme from Thermus aquaticus expressed in E. coli. Like native Taq, it polymerizes DNA from a primer annealed to a DNA template in the presence of deoxyribonucleotide triphosphates. Because Taq DNA Polymerase (cloned) is a recombinant protein, it is exceptionally pure and provides excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility. It has an optimum temperature of 75°C and can survive repeated incubations at > 95°C
