Ureteral Catheter
The MEDpro Utreteral Catheter is used for the drainage and navigation of the tortuous ureter. The tapered tip eases placement as there are no edges that could interfere with the ureteral orifice.

The MEDPro Ureteral Catheter has a blue colour and is made of polyurethane.
It comes in a sterile peel-open packaging and is intended for one-time use only.

PCN Catheter
Percutaneous Nephrostomy (PCN) Catheters are used for a temporary diversion associated with urinary obstruction secondary to calculi.

Other common indications include:

Diversion of urine from renal collecting system when healing fistulas or leaks resulting from traumatic or iatrogenic injury, malignant or inflammatory fistulas, or hemorrhagic cystitis,
Treatment of nondilated obstructive uropathy,
Treatment of complications related to renal transplants,
Access for interventions such as direct infusion when dissolving stones, chemotherapy and antibiotic or antifungal therapy,
Decompression of nephric or perinepheric fluid collections (e.g. urinomas, abscesses).

MEDpro’s PCN Catheters are made of polyurethane and are coloured blue.
They are supplied in sterile peel-open packages and are intended for one-time use only.

PCN Catheter with Needle
The Percutaneous Nephrostomy (PCN) Catheter with needle is used in the same cases as the PCN Catheter. It can however directly puncture through the skin into the kidney. This avoids having to insert a needle and catheter separately i.e. one after the other.

The MEDpro PCN Catheter is made of polyurethane and is coloured blue.
The needle is made of stainless steel. Both are supplied in a sterile peel-open package and are intended for one-time use only.

Malecot Catheter Set
The MEDpro Malecot Catheter set is used for percutaneous placement of a Malecot Catheter in the renal pelvis for nephrostomy drainage.

MEDpro’s Malecot Catheters sets are supplied in sterile peel-open packaging and are intended for one time use only.

The catheters are made of Polyurethane and are blue in color. The scalpel and needle are manufactured from Stainless Steel. Guide wires are made of PTFE Evergreen coated Stainless Steel.

The urine bag connector is made of PVC. Fascial dilators are made of Grey PeBax®.

Ureteral Balloon Dilation Catheter
MEDpro’s Ureteral Balloon Dilation Catheters are used for the dilation of ureteral strictures or ureteral dilation prior to ureteroscopy or Stone manipulation. Radiopaque markers indicate the proximal and distal ends of the balloon.

MEDpro Ureteral Balloon Dilation Catheters are supplied in sterile, peel-open packages. They are intended for one time use only.

The catheters are made of Nylon and are blue in color.
