Modular pool
Product Modular Pool
We make it possible to turn every usable room into a hydrotherapy area. Our freestanding modular pool can be assembled at every possible location. In this way, hydrotherapy becomes available for nursing homes, hospitals or small rehabilitation centers. While the patient does exercises in the water, the therapist can precisely track and correct the movements through observation windows on the sides of the pool.

The modular pool can be equipped with a great amount of accessories, of which a moveable swimming pool floor and an underwater treadmill.

Underwater treadmill
Product information
We believe that the underwater treadmill is the next step in active rehabilitation. Because of buoyancy, resistance and hydrostatic pressure of the water, the patient can start underwater walking exercises almost immediately.

Our EWAC movable floors make it possible to house an integrated underwater treadmill, meeting the highest norms regarding usability, adjustability and operational stability. When mobility is key or you don’t have one of our floors, we offer a drop-in treadmill. For pools without a movable floor, our drop-in lifting system will still allow you to change depth while running in order to provide the best exercise environment.

Exercising on an underwater treadmill is an excellent combination of weight bearing reduction, while at the same time the patient can perform walking exercises to mobilise otherwise stiff or injured joints.

Aquacontrol
The Aquacontrol compact filtering unit which can be applied as well for the butterfly baths as the rectangular pools.

The Aquacontrol filters the water, brings it to a pre-adjusted water temperature and disinfects the water. Through a mounted time clock a program can be set when the Aquacontrol is operational.

When there is a big load on the bath, or to maintain a constant level of chlorine, the Aquacontrol can optionally be equipped with an automatic measure and control panel for the chlorine. The pH-value can be read, but is not automatically corrected if necessary. By this optional control, the free chlorine value can automatically be maintained at the right, pre-set, level. This guarantees an optimal disinfection of the water.

The Aquacontrol filter unit is connected directly to the EWAC butterfly bath or rectangular pool by flexible hoses. This is only possible for types 4 and 5 of both baths/pools. Thus, the Aquacontrol stands against the butterfly bath or rectangular pool, so that it forms a whole. The Aquacontrol consists out of a circulation pump, a pattern filter, an electric heat exchanger, dosing pump, a storage tank for chlorine, a relay and a control cabinet.

Switches for choosing manual control can be found on the control panel. With manual control one gets the possibility to turn off the circulation pump and/or dosing pump, or make a decision between automatic control, so that a mounted time clock takes over switching functions. This way, the Aquacontrol can be turned off, for example, two hours after closing time and turned on 2 hours before opening time. This way, one can realise a serious safe on energy.

Furthermore, several safeguards have been implemented: when the circulation pump does not work, chlorine cannot be dosed and heating is also turned off. Also, the pre-set temperature is continually guarded, and the water is heated if necessary. In case of a possible overheating the Aquacontrol also has several safeguards.

The outer plates of the Aquacontrol can easily be removed, so that it creates a good access for cleaning and/or maintenance. Because of the easy removal of the outer plates, the filter pattern can also be removed from the tank so that it can be cleaned. To make the maintenance last as short as possible, EWAC delivers a second pattern filter so that the filter can always be cleaned in a later stage, and later on stored.

Pooltrack Curve
We believe that in rehabilitation, you should be able to offer a wide range of exercise options to the patient. We also believe that exercising in the water should be fun! Introducing our new, Self-propelled underwater treadmill. A great item for circuit training, or even for aerobic group programs.

Our unique free running roller system ensures a minimum amount of resistance in the movement of the legs, the running speed being determined by the person training on the treadmill. The treadmill can be placed in any position in the pool and can easily be moved in-and out of the pool when needed for circuit training or group sessions. The self-propelled underwater treadmill is entirely built up out of pool water resistant plastic as well as stainless steel 316. It comes with a frontal stainless steel handlebar which is height adjustable.

Exercising in water increases the efficiency of the heart and because of the heat conductivity, the body is easily cooled while the connective tissue becomes more flexible. The EWAC Medical underwater bicycle is specially designed for cycling exercises in water for rehabilitation purposes. Due to the unique properties of the variable resistance mechanism, the underwater bicycle can be used in any stage of the rehabilitation process.
