Blood Separator
Produces Red Blood Cell separation material for Lateral Flow Test manufacturing industry.

Advantages of Nupore Blood Separator :
● Blood sample’s storage, clotting or centrifugation is eliminated.
● No technical expertise & lab equipment is required.
● Immediate results in critical situations.

● No requirement of liquid buffer in kit.
● Patient’s sample intermixing is avoided – hence results are more reliable.

Formation :
Blood Separator ( Type RBS ) acts as sample pad & stops RBC. 5 – 10 µl whole blood is
applied in device and 2 – 3 drops of buffer are added to drive the plasma.

Characteristic :
● Time for plasma to reach window of device – 80 sec
● Time for plasma to cross the window – 150 sec
● Haemolysis – No
● Drops of blood sample added – 3

Polyester Matrix Type PT1 – 05 is 400µ thick sturdy material. It acts as reservoir for conjugate and transfers the
particles quickly to membrane. It has minimal additives so that users may include additives as per requirements.

Absorbent Pads (Sink Pads)
Absorbent pads, located at downstream end of the test, control the sample flow along the strip. These are
hydrophilic in nature, have excellent absorbent capacity and thus help drive the flow. offers

Absorbents Pad AP – 08 (0.8 mm thick) for cassettes are available precut to desired length and width.

Glass fiber sample pad Type GP – 04 exhibits high absorption capacity and does not bind proteins. Available in
standard thickness of 0.35 mm and 0.60 mm in sheet /strip form. GP – 04 – With minimal additives allowing a user to include additives as per requirement.
