Single-use or disposable chips need to be produced as environmentally friendly as possible, with a view to maximise the recycle-ability of the raw materials. With disposable products, it is important that the processes are reproducible, cost-efficient and completed in the shortest period of times.

The fabricated structures can be of macro, micro or nano size in several polymers, glass or hybrids.

For your first Laboratory trails you can use our Standard Chips in several and most used transparent or opaque materials.

Our standardised formats, such as the micro slide format or credit card format (ID1) with thicknesses between 0.75 to 3 mm allow preliminary tests for the appropriate selection of the materials. Other thicknesses are available upon request, and will be manufactured. The substrates are produced to very tight tolerances, are low-stress and have a very high transparency. The transmission values are 88% or better / are >= 90%. The blanks can be structured with a functional coating or can be prepared with various metals and for new applications.

There is a wide choice of various transparent polymers, either as standard foils in A4 size, or in small/large quantities as rolls. The variety types of foils, which are used in the pharma industry, medicine and other fields of applications, do not only have the purpose / task to close a channel or a chamber, but are the basis for extended functions, e.g. pumping function, filter, basis for electrodes or independent fluidic structural carriers.

We are already providing our customers with ready processed foil elements with and/or without structures. From a form faithful top layer for the bonding process up to the entire structures in a single- or multiple layer system (e) combined.

On customer request we are also able to produce small amounts of the new mono layer or blends for first trials, this can be 10 qm – 100 qm or greater volumes.

After we receive your Idea, Hand sketch or CAD Files with your design and we are clear on the final specifications you can expect delivery of the first prototype layer between 1.5 – 2 weeks.
