D. A. Surgical was founded by Dan Allen, best known as the inventor of the Allen Stirrup*. As the retired founder of Allen Medical Systems* and current president of D. A. Surgical, Dan is a respected pioneer and product designer who has dedicated more than forty years to the study of anatomy and physiology as they relate to the proper positioning of patients in surgery.
