Principle & Procedure
In the acid solution (PH3), bilirubin of specimen is oxidized into bilverdin by vanadate oxidization, at the meanwhile, the absorbance at 450nm cold be decline. Based on being measured the absorbance difference value of bilirubin oxidized before and after at 450nm, the bilirubin concentration could be determined in the specimen. End-point method

Principle
The AFU assay is based on the enzymatic cleavage of the synthetic substrate 2-chloro-4-nitrophenyl-a-L-fucopyranoside to a-L-fucoside and 2-chloro-4-nitrophenol, which is kinetically quantified by measuring the absorbance at 405 nm.
