About Us

Company details
Based on more than 20 years experience in infusion technology, Infutech set out to develop the first truly dedicated needle safe subcutaneous infusion system to meet all the requirements of EU sharps safety legislation enforced from May 2013.

We worked with a highly experienced design team and have manufacturing sites based in Europe for ultimate quality control. The results of this work have led to the development and production of the Saflo(TM) Needle safe subcutaneous infusion sets. These have now become widely used in the UK and Europe, including availability for some codes through the UK Drug Tariff.

The Saflo™ products can be used to provide a safe and effective alternative to the traditional products in this area. With very fine gauge insertion needles and automatic needle guard mechanisms these are the ultimate in safety, comfort and convenience for a wide range of user groups. The products are fully compatible with all standard syringe drivers.
