EVISA lubricated rotary vane
The lubricated rotary vane pumps EVISA are designed to be used in a wide range of industrial applications (metallurgy, environment, glass, packaging, food processing, composites…). They can run continuously from atmospheric pressure to ultimate vacuum with high water vapor pumping capacity thanks to many accessories. They are very silent and extremely robust. They are designed for light onsite maintenance.

MINIVAC 1/2/3
MINIVAC 1/2/3 autonomous and compact vacuum systems can be equipped up to PS three dry pistons vacuum pumps or ARICA dry rotary vane pumps. The regulation is made with a PLC. They are equipped with a bacterial filtration.
These systems fit to the ISO 7396-1 standard version 2016.

LABOVAC 1/2
LABOVAC autonomous and compact vacuum systems are designed to laboratories application. They can be equipped up to two ANTIGUA liquid ring pumps. They can be fitted with a recycling water system and management of water supply system. A bacterial filtration can be add in option. The control of the system is done by electromechanical or electronic controller.

ANAESTIVAC 1/2
ANESTIVAC 1/2 anesthetic gases vacuum systems can be equipped with two KAV side channel vacuum pumps. The flow rate can be set to different outputs to maintain a constant vacuum level. These systems are installed in autonomous mode or in remote operation with a status report device. The main benefit is to reduce the medical air consumption which supplies the AGSS suction by venturi. They must be installed with a vacuum network separate to centralized vacuum.
These systems fit to the ISO 7396-2 standard.

MAVO 3
MAVO 3 emergency systems are dedicated to distribution of vacuum, air and oxygen fluids. The ARICA dry rotary vane pump, was preferred due to its oil less technology, for a secure and proper design in oxygen presence. Air and oxygen supply is done in continuous thanks to two gas cylinders each equipped with a pressure reducer. Fluid monitoring is done by electronic controller. This emergency system is the most compact on the market to facilitate the integration into services.

HOSPITAIR SCROLAIR 1/2
HOSPITAIR SCROLAIR 1 and 2 medicinal air plants can be equipped with up to two oilless scroll compressors. The air treatment system is assembled with an adsorption air dryer SEC 7HC. The control of the system is done by electronic control board.
These systems fit to the ISO 7396-1 standard.

Company details
Creation of the company in 1926
At the beginning of 1900’s, the city of Lyon was famous for its mechanical industry.
This moment, SLIM (Société Lyonnaise d’Industrie Mécanqiue) started its activity by the manufacture of car engines and complete cars.
In 1926, one of shareholders decided to create his own company. He reversed the name that became MIL’S (Manufacture Industrielle Lyonnaise de Surpresseurs) and attracted his former collaborators in this industrial adventure.

Firstly air compressors for industry
With the experience acquired in the conception of combustion engines, Adolphe THEVENIN designed the first piston compressors for compressed air, which could also be used as a vacuum pump. The first applications of compressed air and vacuum were industrial ones.

The development of a vacuum medical range
From 1970, MIL’S became interested in the medical market and developed a specific range of vacuum systems and breathable air. The 4th generation of the family is currently involved in the company’s management which has since grown to an international level from 2000’s.

New premises dedicated to production
In 2014, the company expands its production site in Genas. So, its composed by two plants to a global area of 12 500 m2 ; one for machining and assembly of vacuum pumps, another dedicated to assembling industrial and medical systems.
In addition to the machining shop and assembly lines of vacuum pumps, these new premises also allow to host test rooms as well as a design office dedicated to the design of pumps.
This new factory allows to MIL’S to increase its production capacity in response to the progressive evolution of requests.

Integration of boiler making
In 2016, the machining and vacuum pumps pole integrated an industrial boiler.
With this new know-how, MIL’S will be able to gain flexibility and improve its manufacturing times for vacuum systems and medical packages which allows, a complete mastery of the production process.
